Project description

Reconstruction of the existing stone house and its transformation into a holiday home. The challenge was to upgrade an extremely cramped floor plan of the existing house, with 60cm thick stone walls, and the possibility of the 12m floor plan extension, with sanitary facilities, an internal staircase and the option of separating the space into two areas.

The concept was to put the toilets in the extended section, levelled by half a floor, to allow access from all floors as well as ensure the gravity connection to the sewer network.
In the basement, there is a kitchen with a dining area and direct access to the lower courtyard. The ground floor has two bedrooms and the upper floor has a living room with a kitchenette. One more sleeping area is located on the gallery.
